New York City composer and playwright Richard Gleaves began his career as a singer, performing in opera and musical theater companies. He is creator of the book, music and lyrics for “Dorian”, a musical adaptation of the Oscar Wilde novel “The Picture of Dorian Gray” which was premiered in 2000 by Goodspeed Musicals. He is author of the award-winning farce “Oswald on Ice” and the recipient of BMI’s Harrington Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement.
